On Saturday Sept 15 the Oyster Bay Fire Dept and East Norwich Fire Co celebrated the dual wetdown of Ferrara Tower Ladders 554 and 516 at Fireman’s Field in Oyster Bay. Other 5th Battalion unit’s joined in the traditional soaking of new apparatus by applying ladder pipes, deck guns and even hand lines. After the soaking all in attendance were treated to a BBQ buffet, cold drinks, and a bounce castle for the kids
