At 0738hrs on Tuesday January 5th 2010 the Oyster Bay and Atlantic Steamer Fire Companies were alerted for an auto accident at the intersection of Mill Hill Road, and Calf Farm road. upon the arrival of the Old Brookville Police department the Oyster Bay and Atlantic Steamer Chiefs were notified that the “hurst tool” would be needed. The extrication was handled by the crew of Atlantic Steamer HR-555, while members of the Oyster Bay Fire Dept RESCUE squad began patient care. Both patients were transported by Oyster Bay Fire Deparment ambulances to local hospitals. The operations were under the supervison of Oyster Bay Fire Department 1st Asst. Chief Anthony DeCarolis, and Atlantic Steamer Fire company 1st Asst. Chief Douglas Schadler.
