At around 10pm December 14th, Oyster Bay members received a call for an automatic alarm on Elfand court in Oyster Bay Cove. First Chief on scene, 1st Assistant Chief Frank Mantegari, quickly determined it was a working fire in the attic and transmitted the signal ten soon there after. Fire crews quickly arrived on scene and were able to hold the fire to the attic and second floor.
