Nobman’s Corner was a fixture in the hamlet of Oyster Bay as was the Clock Tower that sat atop of this structure. In this photo, Firefighters watch as the Clock Tower comes crashing down into the second floor of Nobman’s Hardware. Tower Ladder 554’s master streams can be seen in the upper right hand corner of the picture extinguishing the visible fire through the roof of the Hardware Store.
