On Saturday June 21, 2008 the Oyster Bay Fire Department participated in the annual 5th Battalion Drill & Parade. This years host was the Atlantic Steamer Fire Company #1 (also located in Oyster Bay). The Oyster Bay “Teddys Boys” took 5th Place overall in the drill.
On behalf of the Officers, members and the “Teddys Boys” drill team, we congratulate the Atlantic Steamer “Rough Riders” on taking 1st place in the drill. It was their 1st win since 1987. The drill was followed by a parade of the hard working 5th Battalion fire departments, and a block party followed.
