On Thursday June 26, 2008 @ 23:11 (11:11pm) the Oyster Bay Fire Companies responded to a report of a truck Fire at the intersection on Glen Cove Road and Mill River Road.
The auto was actually located in front of 50 Glen Cove Road and was fully involved upon the Chiefs arrival. Engine 558 and Atlantic Steamer Engine 557 arrived at the same time and extinguished the fire.
Units on scene: OBFD E-558, OBFD Amb.5526, ASFC E-557, and ASFC-559. Chiefs: 5500,5501,5502,5503,and 5504. The scene was under supervision of Chief Frank Mantegari III – Units were released @ 23:38hrs. The cause of the fire in under investigation.
