On Wed. evening August 18th, Oyster Bay Firefighters were given the chance to practice their skills at rescuing an injured worker from the top of the Commander Oil refinery tanks, as well as rescuing a trapped or injured worker from inside one the tanks. The drill took about 2hrs and was under the supervision of 1st Assistant Chief Anthony DeCarolis, and 2nd Assistant Chief Frank Mantegari III.
