Oyster Bay Places New Ambulance Into Service

The Oyster Bay Fire Department has recently taken delivery of a 2006 Ford Type III Wheeled Coach Ambulance. Designated 5526 the ambulance replaces an older model Ford Wheeled Coach combination. The ambulance is equipped with a Whelan Emergency Lighting and Siren package. The ambulance also features a custom lettering package completed by The Finishing Touch by Dan, with a custom decal in honor of the 26th President of the United States and Oyster Bay’s own Theodore Roosevelt. Oyster Bay’s emergency medical technicians can send telemetry and perform ALS and BLS functions in this ambulance.
