In the early afternoon of Sunday August 26th, the Oyster Bay Fire Department was alerted for a mutual aid to the Syosset Fire Department, Special Call for Tower Ladder 554 to respond the scene of a working building fire. OBFD Chief Mantegari and Tower Ladder 554 responded to the commerical buidling complex on Crossways Park Drive in Syosset. Tower Ladder set up in the rear of the building, firefighters from 554 assisted in search and overhaul duties.
